Data Priorities
Address and Distribution Point schedules provide the option to restrict transfers to specified data priorities during peak hours. ConfigMgr data is classified by priority:
• High
• Medium
• Low
You can configure the priority as a property of the distribution settings of certain content such as packages and boot images. Chapter 13 describes distribution settings. You should identify any links between sites or between distribution points that are near saturation during peak hours, and consider using scheduling priorities together with content distribution settings to minimize the impact of file transfers on your environment.
