Client Installation Logs
Client installation logs should give you the exact clues to troubleshooting why a client is not installing correctly. These three log files are located in %windir%\ccmsetup\.
• ccmsetup.log: Records information about the ccmsetup bootstrap process including downloading and installing client prerequisite components as well as actual client installation using the client.msi Windows Installer.
• client.msi.log: The verbose log file output from the client.msi Windows Installer.
• CcmRepair.log: Records setup tasks performed by client.msi and used to troubleshoot client installation or removal problems.
