Chapter 11. Standard protocol for exchanging system facts
Abstract
System assurance requires a common vocabulary for describing accurate system facts to represent concrete facts about the system of interest. It is the foundation for the integrated system model, to which other units of cybersecurity knowledge can be added, as well as the foundation for describing general cybersecurity content, such as vulnerability patterns. The standard protocol for exchanging system facts is described in the OMG Knowledge Discovery Metamodel (KDM).
