Foreword
With the wireless revolution, we now have the ability to be productive anytime, anywhere. That's because we can get to information anytime, anywhere. Working with out-of-date information is like reading yesterday's papers. We want our information to always be up-to-date, any time, anywhere.
From a technology perspective, delivering this solution to customers presents numerous challenges. For example, we live in a world of heterogeneous devices connected through wireless and wireline networks all supplied by different vendors and/or organizations. There is only one way to make sense of such a complex world: the creation an open standard for synchronization, across networks, across devices. That is exactly what SyncML® does!
