To experiment with the various libraries introduced in this book, you need the J2SE 1.4 SDK that can be obtained at http://www.javasoft.com. The examples in this book were developed using Eclipse, which can be downloaded from the Eclipse project site at http://www.eclipse.org. Chapter 1 contains full instructions on how to download and configure Eclipse and the SWT classes and libraries.
