8. Windows 7 Security

Security has become a bigger and bigger issue because of the proliferation of methods for finding out private information that’s stored on your computer. Practices that used to be reserved for highly specialized IT professionals are now virtually required on every home and small business computer.

This chapter discusses security issues in both Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. It also discusses some security features that were introduced in Windows Vista but have been improved in Windows 7.
