So far, we have used standard Web packages, such as the Adobe viewer, to see the fruits of our labors, but there are other packages, both commercial and noncommercial, to use as browsers, native editors, exporters, and converters. This chapter will focus on an overview of those packages.

These packages include viewers (at this writing, viewers are the only way to see SVG graphics on the Web, though that will change in the future) and native editors that read and modify SVG without converting it to some other format.
