Of course, co-workers aren’t the only sources of toxicity in the workplace. At offices and warehouses around the country you could notice any number of problems, including but not limited to:

Lead paint

Broken windows and screens

Malfunctioning air conditioners or heaters

Foul odors and fumes from the heating vents

Graffiti on the walls

Broken and leaking sinks, toilets, and water fountains

Water on the bathroom floors

Toilets backed up and overflowing

Rusted and busted pipes

Overflowing garbage and waste

Rats, mice, cockroaches, and other pests

Broken glass on the floors

Burned-out lightbulbs and electricity failures

Nonfunctioning alarm and security systems

Dark hallways with no lighting
