When I’m doing business consultation and working with employees who are having difficulty, I always ask them three major questions:

• What could be the best possible outcome?

• What could be the worst outcome?

• What could all the possibilities in between be?

These questions allow my clients to brainstorm all of the different variations of what could happen. Then they can begin to protect themselves, by preparing for any possible outcome from Best Scenario all the way to Worst Scenario—all the good things and all the negative things that could occur.
