Visualization: The Power to Manifest Positive Results

Before you begin to approach someone, take time out to visualize the results. Focus on the win/win outcome that was described in Chapter 12. Lie down in a quiet place—preferably at home in a comfortable chair, on the sofa, or on your bed—close your eyes, and visualize what you consider the optimal outcome of the interaction to be. Run it through your brain like a movie. Watch yourself communicating, listening, and talking with the person in question.
