A Rogues Gallery of Relations

One of the most basic characteristics of systems is the way in which they map values on the inputs to values on the outputs. This mapping, or relation, can take on a variety of different types, which range from the most straightforward to the truly bizarre. This section introduces you to the various kinds of relations you might encounter, using a device I call the Rogues Gallery of Relations.
