DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1:Why do many managers fail to receive the obvious signals (low productivity, complaints, and so forth) that they are not communicating with their employees?
2:Which supervisor would you prefer to work with? Supervisor A is a strong leader who knows when to get tough, but at least you always know where you stand. Supervisor B is a more quiet and soft leader who is consistent and easy to work with but at times gets pushed around a little. Explain your point of view.
3:What can be done to help a manager who consistently stereotypes employees and thereby fails to encourage the development of their potential abilities to contribute?
