Objective

To provide a simulated experience in evaluating the causes for and potential dangers in termination.

Problem

Supervisor Joe has made up his mind that he wants to give Mrs. Q the required two-week termination notice. He bases his case on the following: (1) Her productivity dropped about six weeks ago and has never come back up to previous levels. (2) She has been absent twice during this six-week period and late several times. (3) She has, despite suggestions from Supervisor Joe, consistently overextended her coffee breaks.
