THE IMPORTANCE OF PLANNING

The role of a supervisor is a far cry from that of an employee. You cannot just let things happen but must make them happen. You must control a multitude of factors, deal with countless emergencies, and pick up a variety of loose ends, constantly directing and guiding the activities of others. No matter how many details must be faced, no matter how frantic the pace, you must stay on top of the situation and in control.
