EIGHT STEPS TO SUCCESS

The next time you need to concentrate on a major problem or project, follow these simple steps:

1.
Isolate yourself. Find a location where you are free from interruptions and excessive noise. Once you arrive, make yourself comfortable. Relax enough so that other matters leave your mind. You are then ready to concentrate.
2.
Review the situation. If you are concentrating with the help of a computer, bring up all facts and past history. If you are working away from a computer, have all available data with you, including printouts. Study the data.
3.
Give yourself a time limit. With full concentration, fifteen minutes is a long time. Attempt to beat the time allotments you have used in similar situations in the past.
