TIPS ON HOW TO CONCENTRATE

In assuming your responsibilities as a new supervisor, learning to wear both hats effectively is important. Here are a few tips that will assist you in wearing your concentration hat.

Limit your time. It is not how much time you spend concentrating that is important, but rather how intensely your mind is focused while you are at it. Experience shows that when you limit yourself to a certain amount of time for concentration purposes (say, thirty minutes instead of an hour), you accomplish more.
