MINOR CHANGES

It means many minor changes and three major changes. Some of the smaller things include the following:

  • More decisions will be made at the production level.

  • College professors will devote less time to theory and more time to “supervising techniques” in preparing those who aspire to management roles.

  • Effective supervisors will be easier to spot and will receive “first call” on promotional possibilities.

  • Women who excel as front-line supervisors will discover that the so-called “glass ceiling” is less apt to exist in their organizations.
