PART 2Supervision and Modeling of ComplexSystems

This part describes work carried out within the framework of six projects on the modeling and supervision of complex systems. Work presented in these chapters puts forward the industrial issues expressed by the needs of the industrial partners of the projects, the theories and approaches implemented and the expected results. These six projects (FD2S, merging of data for the supervision of a complex system application to guided transport systems; FDADI, merging of multisensor data in diagnosis for the monitoring of the trajectory of a vehicle convoy; DEPRADEM I and II, modeling of the process for maintenance decision support; COSMOS I and II, design and observation of systems with multiple modes of safe operating; APPRODYN, approaches of the dynamic reliability to model critical systems; and PARDI, contribution of the retailer effect for the operation diagnosis of systems) mainly deal with:

– the processing of faults in the data sensors embedded in public transport or FRET;

– the application of a forecast type approach to the maintenance and decision support in a dynamic context;

– the development of supervision and multitask learning systems by integrating the concept of retailer effect of machines; and

– the experimentation of approaches of reliability for critical command and control systems.

These approaches have been tested in the areas of transport and energy. They can be applied in all other areas where the complexity and ...
