Overview

Have you ever had a boss or significant other who assumed that you had special mind-reading powers? The most common reason that people fail to live up to our expectations is that they simply do not know what the expectations are in the first place. We assume that people know what we expect of them, or they believe that they know what we expect from them, or they don’t know and are too embarrassed to admit it.
