Mentorship Magic

Superman and Jor-El. Spiderman and Uncle Ben. Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Just about every great superhero has a mentor…and you should be no exception. Mentors are the key to unlocking our superpowers. Once you have the right mentor, you have a special kind of role model: someone whose example helps you when you need guidance most, someone who makes it easier for you to learn and grow from your weaknesses, someone who can help you maximize your strengths and get the help you need in the areas where you lack expertise.

Having a mentor rocks.

Most people don't realize it, but there are really three different kinds of mentors. Once you learn to take full advantage of all three kinds of mentor relationships, you will have access to new levels of power, influence, self-confidence, and authority that most other people only dream about. You become a different kind of person: the strongest possible version of you. It's almost like magic. In fact, from a distance, the quantum leap you will take in your life will look so much like magic that that transformation might as well be magic.

The magic of mentorship emerges from three very different sources:

1. A coach who challenges you helps you set goals and holds you accountable for getting the most from your own talents and capacities.
2. A mastermind group.
