‘When I retire’ is a phrase that often precedes happy thoughts about what we plan to do when we finish working, or when we finish raising children, or when we finish doing both. In chapter 1, I shared my own retirement dream and listed a bunch of fantastic retirement plans that women have shared with me over the years. Here are a few more examples of dreams that women have shared with me that start with the phrase ‘When I retire’:
