Parallel Databases Using Sun Cluster 2.2 Software

The following diagram illustrates a typical two-node Oracle OPS cluster using SC2.2 software. Each node in the cluster runs its own Oracle instance (illustrated as ORA-A and ORA-B). Each instance has simultaneous access to the same data store—that is, both ORA-A and ORA-B can read and write to the database as required.
