Data Service Options
Many data services are already available that can match application requirements—these data services can save a long development process. There are many groups within Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Sun Cluster Engineering, Market Development, Engineering, and Sun Professional Services) involved in the development of commercial-grade data services.
This section provides an example of existing data services. Contact your local Sun service provider to obtain the current list of available data services from Sun Microsystems and third-party vendors. See Table 3-1 for descriptions of available data services.
