Processing and Analyzing the Measurements

Processing and analyzing the measured results of a set of experiments is an open-ended activity. Collected data is often simply processed into averages and tabulated or plotted. I’m sure that even with the best of intentions, the postprocessing and analysis of results could often be described as cursory. Part of the problem is a lack of tools and techniques, so I will explore some simple methods and give examples of the kind of advanced results that can be obtained by use of a good statistics package like SAS/CPE™ or S-PLUS™.
