Layout Managers, Layout Policies, and Containers
The Layouts applet provides a great way to study the interaction between layout managers, layout policies, and containers. Use appletviewer to display the Layouts applet and resize the appletviewer window to see how each of the layout managers responds to changes in the container's size. Several exam questions require you to be familiar with how a container's layout is updated when the container is resized.
