What the Exam Covers

The Java 2 programmer exam covers a wide range of topics related to the Java programming language, core API packages, and console and AWT program development. It contains 59 questions on programming topics that a well-versed Java programmer is expected to know. These questions are organized according to the following testing objectives (supplied by Sun):
