Barriers to Intergroup Teamwork

1.   Stereotyping. Yes, it is plain, old-fashioned prejudice. People in one group have preconceived ideas (stereotypes) about people in the other group. Something like, “Well, you know how those people in are” or “Did you ever try to get those folks in to do something quickly?” or “People in always find a way to make things difficult for us.”
