Conditions for a Consensus

A consensus should involve the following conditions:

1.  All members have had a chance to express their opinions about the issue.

2.  All members can say they understand the decision.

3.  All members are able to articulate or rephrase the decision in their own words.

4.  All members are prepared to support the decision.

5.  All members will work to see that the decision is implemented.

6.  All members will express support for the decision without reservation.
