Mapping Your Process

OK, YOU'RE DONE with all the preliminary stuff. Now it's time to get started drawing up a process! We begin by working from the outside in: looking at how the process interfaces with the outside world by figuring out what inputs are available to you, what inputs you will need that aren't currently available, and what outputs other people or processes require you to produce. After we've done that, we can begin to figure out what happens inside the process to convert those inputs into the required outputs.
