It’s Not About More Communication

Communication is often promoted as the key to integration success. The quality of communication is certainly important: You need to maintain honesty and credibility as you bring the two entities together. However, it is misguided to believe that increasing the quantity of communication facilitates the process. Rather than holding dozens of meetings and sending hundreds of e-mails, it is more effective to have your actions demonstrate your intent.
