5.6. Opportunity Configuration

An implementation that will use the Opportunity entity for managing sales has many choices to make that will ultimately impact the usability and adoption of the solution. Many of the configuration decisions should be based on the processes and business needs identified during design through questions like those found in Chapter 4. Many functions within the sales opportunity require assessment. This section will cover three of the key opportunity configuration areas that provide a good base for other decisions.
