5.3. Contact Configuration

In all Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementations, contacts are used to define individuals the organization interacts with while doing business. In business models that sell direct to consumers (the B2C business model), contacts define the organization's customers. In those and all others, contacts could be employees of the accounts the organization sells to, employees of accounts the organizations partners with, employees of accounts that influence the relationship, or individuals involved with or influencing relationships.
