Locating Resources

There are three sources of open source documentation: the development team, the user community, and commercial publishers. Each has strengths and weaknesses, and each occurs at different stages of an open source product's life cycle. Each source can deliver high-quality documentation, but, unlike commercial software documentation, there is much more variability in the quality levels of open source documentation.
