Assessing JBoss: Technical Support

JBoss offers a number of support forums, which are monitored by users as well as JBoss employees. In addition, JBoss offers paid support, both for development and production. Both the forums and paid support were assessed during this part of the process. For this assessment, the self-support option was not applicable and therefore not rated. The point assignments for JBoss support are listed in Table 6.2. For details of the JBoss technical support assessment process, please see Table 6.3. Notes about the assessment are documented on the checklist.
