Prior to the Transition

The kinds of planning and thinking done before the transition are among some of the most significant determinants of success in your new assignment. There are at least three issues that need to be considered in this period:

  1. Your personal goals.
  2. The expectations of those hiring you.
  3. Your fit with the organization.
