COLORED GELS

Colored gels are the smallest, simplest, cheapest, and yet most powerful light modifiers. With a single one of these small pieces of acetate, you can transform the entire mood of a portrait. Gels are most commonly used for color correction, such as when you need to reduce the orange glow in a tungsten-lit room.
