LIGHT BILLIARDS

If you’ve ever played a game of billiards, you’ve certainly used this next technique: the bank shot. You know that if you aren’t in an ideal place to make a clean shot, you have to get creative. It comes down to simple angles and a bit of (dare I say it) math. If you shoot the cue ball at an angle into the side rail, you know that it will bounce off the rail at the same angle. The same principle applies to lighting. If the space you’re shooting in is too small, by getting creative with the placement of your light you can manipulate the size and quality of your small, hard light source.
