Life Cycle Analysis Matrix

The following instructions and table provide the basis for you to determine the impact of your products or services in every stage of their life cycle as explained in chapter 4.

Instructions—In each box (for example, the box that intersects Energy and Distribution), write the quantity used in association with this aspect of the product’s or service’s life cycle (in this case, gallons or Btu of fuel used per year) or write its quality (e.g., major energy use). After the boxes are filled in, use a red, yellow, or green highlighter to color each box: red for major impact, yellow for minor impact, and green for no impact.
