Let me start with a plea: do not buy this book if you are looking for in-depth, innovative, path-breaking strategic analysis. I don’t want you telling me off on Amazon for trotting out tired old business concepts, revealing nothing new!

This is strategy plain and simple. No more, no less.

It is aimed at small to medium-sized businesspersons or managers of sizeable businesses within a larger company, wishing to take their business from where it is today to where they want it to be tomorrow.

It is not aimed at managers of multinational or global corporations. It is not aimed at business school graduates thirsty for new strategic thinking as they pursue their careers in consulting or investment banking.
