Introduction

This book had its origins in two ideas. The first was the realization that most strategic projects fail. The second was the belief that training can now establish a new order. Various studies have demonstrated that only two out of five strategic projects succeed in delivering the anticipated results on time and budget. That is an enormous waste, and improved training can improve the success rate of new strategic initiatives.
