Global Higher Education: A Perspective from Spain

Introduction

The aim of this article is to present some ideas and data about the role that Spain can play in the global world of higher education, particularly in connection with two continents to which Spain has been historically attached, that is, Europe and Latin America. Spain is now a mid-size country, with a population between 46 and 47 million people.
