Problem Description
A manufacturing company tracks its inventory on a mainframe, using a daily COBOL batch process to update stock levels. A new Internet-based ordering system provides a list of orders as an XML document. These orders must be converted into a format that can be read by the mainframe batch inventory programs.
Also, the Internet-based ordering system must be updated with current stock levels after the master inventory list has been updated. This will require that data from the COBOL inventory file be exported in XML format.
