Requirements

This system must meet the following requirements:

  • The resulting HTML document should be viewable by the greatest possible variety of Web browsers. This requirement will dictate which version of HTML will be generated, and which HTML/browser features will be available for use in the final document.

  • The final solution must be compatible with the company's existing Web server infrastructure. If real-time transformations are to be done, they must be compatible with available tools for the current Web server platform. For the purposes of illustration, this example will work with either Microsoft's Internet Information Server or the Apache Web server.
