Chapter 8. Defining Staffing Requirements Where Plans Are Uncertain

Sometimes we need to create staffing strategies in situations where you lack perfect, complete information regarding business strategies and plans. In some cases, business strategies may be unclear or may describe only strategic objectives. In other cases, business plans may describe several possible outcomes or approaches, but do not specifically define which ones will be implemented. Sometimes the business plans are clear, but information on the staffing levels and capabilities needed to implement those plans is sketchy at best.
