SELF-ASSESSMENT: A RESOURCE CREATION WORKSHEET TO CREATE YOUR OWN PRIMER
We developed the Resource Creation Primer within Whirlpool for potential innovators, and we have adapted it here to help you create your own primer. This primer, in Worksheet 6.1, can serve as a template for you to develop your own primer. For each part of the primer, we have provided an example of what we wrote for ourselves in Whirlpool. (The only exception to this is the Business Strategy section: we did not add the Whirlpool example because it is proprietary.) Note that the Discovery Centre referred to in the Whirlpool example is the formal name we gave to the team of I-Consultants and the VP of Innovation in a strategic business unit.
