  • Culture and values shape how you approach innovation embedment. What might be right in one culture may not work in another.
  • Be aware that much of culture is unarticulated and may not be visible. A culture assessment or a keen understanding of your culture before you start embedment planning will help you counteract the invisible hand of culture. Also, the more you can make culture part of the open discussions during embedment planning, the greater are the chances you will have success.
  • Your culture will not be overturned as a result of innovation embedment, but if you are successful, your culture will change and be shaped.
