Integrating Strategic Communications with Change Management

Change management and communication are usually thought of as two different disciplines and discrete areas of activity. Colleges and universities teach the topics in separate departments and, to our knowledge, communication majors do not have to take business classes and business majors are not required to take organizational communication. In companies, organization charts and reporting relationships usually separate these two functions. Moreover, change and communication are generally planned and executed separately in most organization change efforts.
