Entr’acte

Bridging the Gap

That’s it: the four relationships necessary to build a successful organization and an effective fund development program.

So why isn’t the book finished?

Because when I wrote the second edition, people were clamoring for me to write up my successful workshop on creating an effective fund development plan. I did so. And it seemed a shame to eliminate that chapter from this third edition.

Since I chose to keep the chapter about fund development planning, obviously I had to review it. And then add to it. So that’s Chapter 9 in this edition.

Then I figured a postscript about creating the best fund development program was important. This book isn’t about the basic principles and best practice of fund development, but they certainly deserve a mention.

So here I am, in this entr’acte. And here you are. Read on if you wish.
