Chapter 10. Final Thoughts

From experience, I have learned that two things most differentiate successful and unsuccessful employee survey programs. The first has to do with asking the right questions—questions that produce results important to the leadership of the organization. Part One of this book addresses this issue. The second has to with establishing a plan, in advance, for how survey results are going to be used. I am not simply referencing how results to an initial survey are going to be used, but how results are going to be used over successive measurements to effect long-lasting change.
