About the Author
LOUIS PROUD is a writer and researcher specializing in anomalous, or Fortean, phenomena. He was born in the remote town of Laura, South Australia, but spent the majority of his childhood in Tasmania and rural northern New South Wales. Some of his earliest and fondest memories are of watching his father conduct backyard science experiments involving Tesla coils and other electrical contraptions. So far as he is aware, he is the only person in history to have been granted by a high school teacher an award in “Parasite Psychology,” for continually disrupting the class with remarks about parapsychology.
